Why Cupid Is Depressed

I ran into Cupid the other day and he was depressed and blue

Why?

Because his quiver is overflowing with arrows that he hasn’t been able to deliver.
You see, many of you have carefully followed the steps in The Soulmate Secret, and Cupid is ready to deliver your soulmate to you……..but you are making it impossible for him.

Here’s a story he shared with me that totally represents what he is up against:

“About ten months ago Sheryl wrote out her soulmate wish-list, created a beautiful wish-list release ceremony for herself on the night of a new moon, and then she cleared out the clutter in her heart and her home and made lot of space for her soon-to-come beloved.

Sheryl also made time to do a lovely daily feelingization where she reconnected with deep feelings of love, appreciation and gratitude. She practiced “living as if” and “savoring the waiting” and she even did some online dating.

I was so impressed with her dedication that I decided to help her.

So….I went out and found a man that I am 100% certain is the “one” for her…his name is Jake. He’s amazing….everything she is asking for!

First, I arranged for them to meet in the park. Sheryl likes to speed walk several mornings each week in the same park where Jake likes to run. One morning as they were about to pass each other, Jake slowed down to give Sheryl a big welcoming smile and say hello….only Sheryl didn’t see or hear him because she was so busy talking on her cell phone. A few days later I tried again. Same result.

Who is she talking to so early in the morning???

I noticed that after her run, Sheryl went to a local organic coffee cafe just outside the park for her decaf soy latte with extra foam.

Hmmm, I thought. Tom loves coffee, lets give him an intense craving and send him over there as well.

Tom ended up standing behind Sheryl in the line at the counter. He immediately recognized her as the cute woman he had seen in the park. He wanted to talk to her but she had her ear-buds in and she was super busy reading and responding to email on her iPhone. She never looked up or around she was just totally focused on her email. Tom couldn’t think of a way to break into her world so he began to look around to see who else was in the cafe…..”

With tears in his eyes, Cupid final words to me were, “they would have been so happy together.”

As I listened to Cupid’s massive frustration, I just knew I had to share this story with you.

Your soulmate is out there.

They want you as much as you want them.

They are not going to randomly come knocking on your door.

You are going to meet them outside in the real world, and you can’t do that if you are focused on talking, texting, emailing or playing a game on your smart-phone.

Please… you have to pay attention!

Wishing you love, laughter and magical kisses,

Arielle

P.S. What if you could “find love” simply by helping others find the love of their lives? There’s an interesting dynamic in life where you can get more of what you want by helping others get what they want.

For example: if you wanted to lose weight, imagine how much easier and motivated you would be if you were coaching and inspiring others to lose weight. You would naturally become more fit yourself and in fact, you would become an expert at losing weight.

Well, what if you wanted to find the love of your life? Imagine how much easier it would be if you were coaching others on how to find the love of their lives. So, how do you learn how to coach and influence others? Well, I’ve got 5 free videos from my friend Christy Whitman (who is happily married to the soulmate she manifested with the Law of Attraction) who will show you exactly how to do this.

Go here to watch all of them for free.

Karma, Fate, Destiny & You!

I believe that certain parts of life are meant to remain a mystery.   When I think about karma, fate, and destiny they appear to be related.

When I think about intention and co-creating with the Universe, they are also related.

And, I feel that there is a higher power at work balancing out how things show up for us in life.  The glue that holds it all together for me is faith and trust that this higher power knows more than me and has my best interests at heart.

So, while I often actively utilize the Law of Attraction in my life, I also am at peace knowing that I won’t always get my desires fulfilled exactly the way I envision them.  With faith and trust I know that “this or something better” is on the way to me.

For example, in 1984 I was fired from a job in Miami that I had been heavily pursued for.  I had just left one great job thinking that I was entering my all time dream position.  And then, three months later I was fired.  It was a devastating shock.  I didn’t see it coming.

At the time I thought it was the worst thing that had ever happened to me.  Today, I count it as one of the top three best things that ever happened.  Because of that incident I made decisions to make changes that ultimately led me to the life I have today.  I am beyond grateful for that big kick in the butt I got!

And, like many of you, I had some really heartbreaking love affairs that didn’t work out. Today I am so happy they didn’t. In order for me to experience the love I have now, I see  the gifts of those painful relationships.  I uncovered wounds in myself that needed healing and I grew in the ability to love myself and love others.  All of which was essential to my future happiness.

As you work with the Law of Attraction to manifest your soulmate, I want you to remember that you may meet some frogs and toads along the way.  This doesn’t mean it’s not working!  It just means “something better is on the way.”

Wishing you love, laughter and magical kisses,

Arielle

Someone To Grow Old With

In the movie, Shall We Dance, starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez and Susan Sarandon, there is a terrific scene where Sarandon ‘s character is sitting at a bar explaining to a stranger why being married is important.  She says,

“We need a witness to our lives.  There are billions of people on the planet…I mean, what does any one life really mean?  But in a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything – the good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things – all of it, all the time, every day.

You’re saying, “Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it.  Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness.”

For the 65% of Baby Boomers who are married, this ideal of marriage probably resonates. We DO want someone to share ourselves with and to eventually grow old with.  Even for those Boomers who have divorced, most seek to remarry… to find a new lover, best friends, and partner for life.

But things are changing.

There is a disturbing trend happening today around marriage and commitment. One study shows that 39% of Americans say that marriage is becoming obsolete. It appears that marriage has lost its appeal for the younger generations, especially the Millennials (the 18-29-year-olds).  They are pro-parenthood but anti-marriage.

According to Pew Research Center, right now 61% of births to women 20-24 are out of wedlock while one in three births for women 25-29 are to unwed mothers.

Why?

According to Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, president of the Ruth Institute for Marriage and Family:

“Women don’t think men are necessary.  Therefore, they are unwilling to go to the effort required to be in a relationship with a man.”

Clearly these are women who have not experienced the beauty and magic of a relationship that works.  A relationship where two people choose to share a life together and to make a commitment to work through all the ups and downs, good days and bad days.

What will it take to convince the younger generation that marriage isn’t obsolete? I think they need to hear from those who are happily married all the reasons why they find marriage valuable.  Role models are needed and necessary, and clearly at this point in time, missing….

We’ve become a disposable society, not just with our trash, but also with the people in our lives.  If a relationship becomes difficult we declare, “this isn’t working for me” and move on.  We treat our cars better than people.  At least with our cars we know and expect that they need regular maintenance – the oil needs changing, the tires rotating and brakes need replacing.  And yet, even with the people closest to us, so many of us seem unwilling to put in a little time, energy and effort into working through our issues.

I believe a big part of this problem is that we aren’t born with the innate knowledge on how to make a relationship work and our partners don’t come with an “owner’s manual.”

Here’s the bottom line….we’re all going to get old someday.

We can do it alone or we can make the effort to manifest a soulmate and then nurture them and have a best friend to share our golden years with.  Even if you haven’t met “the one” yet, it’s never too early to learn the needed skills so that you can experience Big Love.

As that commercial says, this is an experience that is “priceless.”

Wishing you love, laughter and magical kisses,

Arielle

Monkey Mind Management 101

We’ve all been there…..the days when we spiral down convinced that life just isn’t going our way… that we are undeserving of love, or the new job, or the thing we are most wishing for.

Our mind goes into overdrive, some would call it a negative feedback loop, and we keep replaying the negativity over and over again, convinced our mind is telling us the truth.
BUT….just because you have a thought does not mean it’s true!

It’s up to us to begin to manage our thoughts and emotions and there are ways to do this but it requires a little time and attention.

When you find yourself having negative thoughts, try these techniques:

1)    Stop what you are doing and acknowledge to yourself what you are thinking…internally (or out loud) say “cancel-cancel.”

2)    Then take time to do a feelingization (go to www.soulmatesecret.com and scroll down to the Love Magnet video) to move from your monkey mind to your heart and begin to feel love, appreciation and gratitude.  Remember, you attract MORE of what you are grateful for!

3)    Now create a positive affirmation that FEELS GOOD IN YOUR BODY.  Statements such as: I am a kind and loving being or I am grateful for all the love in my life right now.  Whatever statement feels most natural to you.  Write these on post-it notes and place where you can look at them daily.

I want to suggest that those of you who truly, deeply desire a soulmate that you begin to let go of your doubts of what is possible for you…..remember that the word “impossible” is really “I’m possible.”

One of my favorite quotes in Wayne Dyers book, WISHES FULFILLED, is from the great teacher, Neville, who said “Make your future dream a present fact by assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled.”

I strongly encourage you to write this down and look at it daily. You deserve love and the one you are seeking is ALSO seeking you.

Wishing you love, laughter and magical kisses,
Arielle

As a first-time bride at age 44, I went into my soulmate relationship with no partnership skills…oy…and I learned how to have a great relationship through trial and error.  But, you don’t have to do it this way!

For the past few months I have been super busy programming a no-cost 10-day, online series called The Art of Love where I have the honor and privilege to guide the world’s top 50 love and relationship experts, who share the latest, cutting edge, transformative love skills through a series of workshops.

Can You Use The Law of Attraction To Attract Your Ex?

One of the most frequently asked requests I get is from people who want to know if they can use the Law of Attraction to make someone fall in love with them or to win back an Ex.

Would that work?

If you are a master at Law of Attraction, very possibly….however, I would caution you not to do this. Why? Karma baby!  The Law of Attraction is very powerful but you don’t want to use it as a form of black magic, or as a way to control, dominate, or manipulate anyone. And, it may not get you what you want in the long run.

Just because you think and feel someone is the “one” for you, that doesn’t make it so.  If it isn’t happening organically, or the circumstances are not right for them (they are already in a relationship, or they are choosing not to be with you) I suggest you focus your attention on attracting someone who is open, willing available to BE with you.

Here’s how to use the desire you are feeling towards the unavailable one:

Ask yourself this: What is it I am really wanting to feel and experience with this person?

Right now you are assuming that “having” this person is your only path to these feelings and experiences but reality is showing you that this is not true.

You don’t need to understand why you can’t have the person, but you do need to understand that the things you desire to feel and experience can be yours when you are willing to let go of what doesn’t serve you.

I know how painful it can be when you are yearning for someone who isn’t yearning for you.

Many years ago I was in a difficult relationship where I was constantly trying to make things work and they never did.  One day my friend said something to me that shocked me into reality.

“Trying to get “John” to love you is like asking a man with no arms to hold you.”

I instantly realized she was right.

It wasn’t even his fault.

He just didn’t have the capacity to love me.

Had I tried to use the Law of Attraction to keep him, I would have ended up miserable.

If you find yourself in this circumstance, take the time to uncover what you most want to feel and experience with a soulmate and then follow The Soulmate Secret (http://tinyurl.com/6tjvw8p) steps to love and make it happen.

Soulmate Manifesting Tips From a Master

I recently read Wayne Dyers new book WISHES FULFILLED and fell in love with it.

In this brilliant book he says, “by using your imagination and practicing the art of assuming the feeling of your wishes being fulfilled, and steadfastly refusing to allow any evidence of the outer world to distract you from your intentions, you will discover that you, by virtue of your spiritual awareness, possess the ability to become the person you were destined to be. Wow!

The “feelings” of knowing and trusting that what you have asked for is already yours is the key to manifestation success!

Last week I interviewed Wayne on my radio show to discuss the book and the topic of “negative thoughts” came up…I shared with him that so many of my students get stuck in doubt, fear and negative thinking.

Wayne’s response was:

What Men Want (Really!)

According to a recent “Atlantic Monthly” article, not only are there more singles than ever in history, but

Carol Allen

(according to this article) dating and mating have never been tougher especially for women.

I asked my friend and relationship expert, Carol Allen, for her thoughts on this topic and to share with you a remarkable new series she has created on “what men want.” Here’s what she has to say and a preview to what she has discovered on this topic:

In terms of romantic opportunities, it’s more of a “man’s world” than ever, but don’t panic!

Wabi Sabi Love: New Book Announcement!

Twenty years ago I came across an art magazine article with a striking black and white photograph of a large Asian urn sitting on a pedestal, with a long crooked crack down the middle. The crack was highlighted by gallery lighting! Huh? It did not compute. The headline read “The Art of Wabi Sabi.”

Curious, I began reading about this exotic sounding phrase. Wabi Sabi is the ancient Japanese art form of finding perfection and beauty in imperfection. The urn in the photograph was, in the world of Wabi Sabi, even more beautiful and valued because of the crack, because of its imperfection.

It would take me another few years to realize the true significance of what I read in that article two decades prior…that Wabi Sabi is the answer to the universal dilemma and struggle of living and ultimately loving another person! (A flawed person, I might add, but aren’t we all?).

Wabi Sabi is the answer to finding beauty and grace in things modest, humble, and unconventional. It is the way to finding these things even in the ordinary. Simply put: Wabi Sabi holds the key to everlasting love.

The truth of how this art form relates to soulmate love didn’t come right away. Still, the impact of seeing Wabi Sabi as it related to beauty and life was immediate for me. So many things began to make sense.

I mean, I knew I wasn’t perfect and wasn’t capable of perfection, but I had never entertained the idea that not only should I NOT strive for perfection, but that my imperfection is and was in its own way more valuable than perfection itself. In terms of my own personal growth and wisdom-seeking, this was a huge emotional and spiritual payday!

I decided then and there to become a Wabi Sabi artisan.

I found it relatively easy to practice Wabi Sabi. I could choose to enjoy and appreciate the little quirks and imperfections of my friends, clients, and employees. Or, I could choose to eliminate them from my daily life altogether.

New Moon + Solar Eclipse + Magical Fire Ceremony = Big Love

I’ve learned that some days are more auspicious than others for attracting our heart’s desires. Fourteen years ago when I was actively manifesting my soulmate, Brian, I created a specific fire ceremony to release my “soulmate wish list” and I purposely did it on a Friday when there was also a New Moon.

I love Friday’s because that day belongs to Venus, Goddess of love and beauty. And, I love a New Moon because it’s the best time of the lunar cycle to begin all things “new.” There is a powerful New Moon in Cancer on Friday, July 1st, 2011, and it comes [during?] a Solar Eclipse.

On this day, when the Sun and the Moon are together in the sign of Cancer, it’s symbolic of the joining together of the masculine and feminine energies. According to Vedic astrologer and relationship expert, Carol Allen, this is a highly auspicious time to release your soulmate wish list and it’s a beautiful time to do spiritual practices because “we are more attuned to the more subtle energies, more intuitive and it’s a perfect time to manifest new love.”

On this special New Moon night, I will be leading a special fire ceremony during my Soulmate Secret workshop at Omega as part of my weekend workshop, (for more info Click Here! ) that is designed to bring forth healing as well as calling in the energies for manifesting a life-long partner.

If you have a safe place to make a small fire where you live (with a BBQ grill, a fire pit or some safe container) then you can follow this format and create your own New Moon ritual!  Imagine your intentions included with all those at Omega event in a powerful vortex of Big Love Attraction.  I hope you will join us.

You can do this ceremony by yourself but you will have more fun if you create a mini event yourself. Invite a few friends over and form a circle around the fire. One by one call in support from the Divine, God, Goddess, Source, Spirit, the Universe, the Archangels, Guardian Angels, etc.

Always start with a prayer, and end with a prayer that is coupled with gratitude that your prayers and intentions have already been heard and answered. (Please note that if you are doing this in a group no one is obligated to speak during a Fire Ceremony. Anyone can participate without stating what they are releasing or calling forth.)

The Fire Ceremony is done in three rounds.

Round 1: Begin by making a sacred offering to Mother Earth and to the higher power. This can be as simple as offering some sage to the fire, or some of the food that you ate for dinner that night. Each participant will say a silent prayer of gratitude for all the things they are most grateful and appreciative of in that moment.

Round Two: The focus in on  your prayer for your hearts to be healed of anything that stands in the way of manifesting your soulmate. Write this on a small, clean piece of paper and offer it to the fire. The prayer request will burn, turn to smoke and release into the ethers. This allows the energy of the past to move along to its highest spiritual progression path as we bring in the healing energies.

Round 3: Now is the time for the prayer for “new” love (or if you are already with your soulmate you can use this ceremony to create a new career or new results in some area of life). On a clean sheet of paper write down your desire and then offer it to the fire, knowing, feeling and trusting that the result you have asked for is already yours.

Many find it empowering to recite this prayer during or at the end of your ceremony:
