Got Soulmate Friends?

Today we were listening to James Taylor sing one of my all-time favorite songs, “Shower the People You Love with Love,” and then Carole King’s tune, “You’ve Got a Friend,” came on.

Soon after, I opened an email video from Elizabeth Gilbert and she was singing, “What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love.”

Later, as I sat down to write today’s newsletter, I asked Brian, “What do you think I should write about this week,” and he said, “Friendship!”

Don’t you just love synchrodestiny? (a term coined by Deepak Chopra)

My definition of a soulmate is simple:

It’s someone with whom you can completely be yourself, someone with whom you share unconditional love, and when you look into their eyes you have the experience of being home.

And here’s the really great news: This definition can also apply to friends and pets!

The fastest way to have MORE LOVE in your life is to have a daily gratitude practice.

It’s super easy.

Make a list of all the people in your life the soulmate definition applies to. Then close your eyes. Drop your attention from your head to your heart and allow yourself to really feel how much you love each one of them. You can even send them a wave of love from your heart to theirs.

There is no question the world needs more love right now. Let’s all agree to be part of the solution and take a few minutes each day to share love in as many ways as we can think of.

Wishing you love, laughter, and magical kisses.

Arielle
