Love in Homeopathic Doses (The Pink Kiss Experiment 💋)

Do you remember “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down?”

Lately, I’ve been practicing my own version of emotional medicine.

On the days when I feel annoyed, irritated, or flat-out disgusted with someone (or something)—you know, when I’m deep in my inner “I don’t want to and you can’t make me” stance—I gently remind myself:

Just take a homeopathic dose of love.

If you know anything about homeopathy, you know the dose is tiny. Almost laughably small.

And that’s exactly the point.

Because in those moments, I’m not trying to become some enlightened, all-loving being. I’m not aiming for compassion or forgiveness or any of the big spiritual gold stars.

I’m simply willing to love…
for a second.
Maybe two.

I imagine sending a quick, light-filled, slightly pink kiss in their direction—like a tiny love missile of goodwill.

It’s ridiculous.
It’s theatrical.
And more often than not… it makes me laugh.

And just like that—voilà—something shifts.
The irritation softens.
The emotional charge loosens its grip.
And I find myself back in the only place I actually want to live:

Being Love.

Not because I forced myself there.
Not because I overrode my feelings.

But because I was willing to take the smallest possible step in that direction.

And sometimes… that’s all it takes.

Try it today:
The next time someone annoys you, don’t argue with reality. Don’t try to fix your feelings.

Just send a microscopic dose of love… and see what happens.

Consider it your daily prescription. 💗
